Kumo sukiyaki restaurant Reviews
Just had sukiyaki here with family today, and it was awesome! The place is super clean and cozy, perfect for hanging out with friends or a date night. The beef were super fresh, and was sliced perfectly and super tender, and there was a nice variety of veggies that made it all feel light and refreshing. The broth was amazing, just the right mix of sweet and savory. Chelsey is very friendly and thoughtful, btw. Left feeling totally satisfied!
I recently had a AYCE at Kumo Sukiyaki and it was an excellent experience. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The quality of the meat was outstanding—fresh, tender, and full of flavor. Every bite of beef and pork practically melted in my mouth. I also tried their new seafood items, which were incredibly delicious. The shrimp and scallops were especially fresh and perfectly cooked. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves sukiyaki and fresh seafood.
Came here for AYCE sukiyaki since it is my husband favorite. Chelsea was our waitress and she was very attentive and friendly. Price is good for ayce weekend and lots of ingredient options. Dessert is also included with price and there is different tiers for ayce which is good for more options. Overall would come back and recommend.
5-Star Sukiyaki Experience! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kumo Sukiyaki, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the inviting smell of sukiyaki set the stage for an authentic and enjoyable meal. We were told they just got a new seafood section for the wagyu tier, and two new broths, a tomato and a spicy soup base. So we decided to opt for the wagyu tier, since it had unlimited wagyu and the new seafood section. For the soup base, we opted for a combination of the traditional sukiyaki soup base and the tomato broth. The sukiyaki was absolutely divine. The thinly sliced wagyu beef was perfectly marbled, tender, and cooked to perfection in a bubbling pot of savory broth. The balance of flavors between sweet, salty, and umami was spot on. The tomato soup base was a balance between sweet and sour with just a hint of sourness. It was refreshing and the seafood went really well with the tomato base. All in all, everything tasted really good and there's actually a lot of veggie items and side dishes. The staff were friendly and attentive; and the service was spot on with the attention to detail, constantly coming around to take empty plates, refilling our water and checking on us occasionally but not being too overbearing. Whether you're a sukiyaki fan or a first-timer, I highly recommend Kumo. It’s a wonderful spot for a cozy, flavorful meal with a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to return!
I was pleasantly surprised by the service—though we did have to ask twice before finally getting our egg. The servers were super friendly, took time to explain things we didn’t understand, and even gave us recommendations. This is a great spot for all-you-can-eat Sukiyaki, though I didn’t realize there was a time limit until they gave us a last call after about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The menu isn’t huge, but it has enough variety to enjoy a solid two rounds. It is on the pricier side—make sure to read the first page of the menu! The soup base costs an extra 12, and I completely missed that, which left me a bit confused at the end. If you’ve never tried dipping cooked meat into raw egg, don’t be afraid—it was surprisingly good and made the meat really tender. The mochi ice cream was smaller than expected, but still tasty. Thanks a lot to server Chelicea, very nice of you
It was my first time at kumo (also my 1st time having sukiyaki!) The overall vibe was nice (although a bit smelly). Our server Chelsey was very kind and she served with an excellent customer service. The food price was also quite nice. My duck however, was not very happy with the eggs. But I told him that it's chicken eggs, not duck eggs so he was happy in the end.
This is my third time at Kumo Sukiyaki, and there’s always something new each time. The beef is still as delicious as ever — tender and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the chicken wings and the new soup base, which added a nice twist to the usual flavors. A solid place for hot pot & sukiyaki lovers.
Cece the waitress explained everything well. we ate the all you can eat for 55ish dollars per person broth for 14 ish dollars not a bad price, and the wagyu beef was so tender! I recommend the tomato soup base! Everything came out very quickly and everything tasted fresh! I would definitely go back again!!
